Who is DTC, your transport companion?
We are a Frisian transport company which, since 2009, has been controlled by a group of entrepreneurs who want to do things just a bit differently. We are active in national and international transport on a daily basis. The majority of our clients are companies active in waste collection, sorting, recycling and incineration and in the production of secondary fuels.

Our drivers receive proper training and protective equipment, are well-paid and heavily involved in our decision-making process.

We use collaboration to ensure that all parties make a profit. That includes our customers, our own staff and others in the sector.
Why are we doing this?
In business, it’s vital to keep moving, but motion without purpose is no way to do business. Every haulier is capable of transporting cargo from A to B, but we also take a critical approach to how that is achieved.
Traditionally, the transport sector focuses mainly on cost and generally ignores environmental and social aspects. It’s high time for a change, and we intend to contribute actively to this transition in transport.

What you can expect of us
Service
We are firmly aware of our role as your representative in the eyes of your customers. That’s why we work to make a good impression with motivated employees and well-maintained equipment. Our drivers are properly trained, use appropriate PPE and respect both the applicable regulations on site and the people they work with.
Alternatively, we also expect our drivers to receive the respect they deserve. We enter your orders into our systems, process and complete them with great care. We save digital copies of all documentation.
Communication
It is always our goal to meet all promises, but sometimes circumstances require agreements to be adjusted. Examples of such circumstances include congestion, technical issues, a need to wait at another location, etc. We will contact you in a timely fashion and do our best to find a solution that satisfies everyone together.
Another good thing is the fact that you can always simply call us and have us pick up the phone. There’s no computer or list of options, just a member of our staff on the other end. We also make sure to always provide a quick response, as we know your time is valuable.
Honesty & Responsibility
We can’t guarantee that everything will proceed without a hitch every time. What we can guarantee is that we always give 100% and are constantly working to improve the service we provide. If our efforts do fall short despite this, we welcome your feedback. We communicate with honesty and take responsibility for our actions.
